Think about it.

If you could reach just 1% of Northern California’s 570,000+ plus population, you’d reach an additional 5,700 potential customers this year.

Thank you for your interest in 2003s Website Initiative. We’re glad to be a part of Northern California’s growth and expansion, and look forward to helping you grow your business online!

Think online growth is a dream? Think it’s not possible?

Think again!

According to BizRate.com, an online comparison-shopping service, consumers spent $7.92 billion dollars online from November 25th to December 25th, 2002. That’s billion…with a “b.”

What are they buying? Topping the list is computer hardware and software, followed by books, event tickets, music and videos, travel, toys and consumer electronics.

And, estimates tell us that by 2004, sixty four percent of the U.S. population will be online, where they’ll spend a whopping $83 billion dollars. Remember, that’s just in the U.S. Estimates also say that by 2004, we can expect 709 million people to be connected to the Internet worldwide.

Do you think any of these people will need your products or services? You’d better believe it! But if you want to reach even a small portion of them, whether your offer is confined to your local market or extends globally, you’re going to need a website. Not only will it increase your credibility and give your customers an easy way to shop, or find information about your products or services. Today’s increasingly computer-savvy consumers expect it.

But wait, you say…

My Products or Services Don’t Lend Themselves to Online Sales!

Just because you can’t sell your auto mechanic service online, or the large earth-moving equipment you manufacture, or your accounting services, and so on, doesn’t mean you can’t use your website to provide information, and use your associated email address to keep in touch with current customers, and promote to them whenever you’d like!

Take a dry cleaner for example. Now why in the world would a dry cleaner need a website? Here’s why. Online, you’ll find telephone-type directories, like www.anywho.com. If someone in your local area needs dry cleaning services, and if they use the Internet, chances are good that they’ll go to AnyWho, or another city directory, type in their zip code, enter “dry cleaner,” and choose a vendor they locate online.

Why? First of all, a website gives you the opportunity to say more about your company than a phone book advertisement. You can list your hours, special services, and even dedicate a page to special offers or to tell potential customers more about yourself and your company. Tell them why you got into the business, why you like it, why you’ll take care of them better than any one else, and why they should trust their clothing to you.

Use your website to explain what you do, and your processes, in simple terms, which makes you an expert in your readers’ minds. So next time they wonder, “How can I get grape jelly out of this dress?” Chances are good they’ll think of you first.

And, a website costs much less than an ad in the telephone book, where your listing may be surrounded by dozens of others offering the same products or services. That may also be true on the web, but with a website, you really have a chance to show your stuff…and to shine!

Also, this same drycleaner may collect email addresses from customer who wish to share them, and send them regular promotions when business gets slow. Is June your slow month? Simply type up an email letter, and send it to all of your customers sometime in mid-May. Offer 10% off all June dry cleaning, or offer a "buy one, get one free".

You Don’t Have to Make Millions Online…

When we’re talking about growing your business online, we’re not necessarily talking about building another Amazon.com, or a large online store. Even the smallest small business can easily increase revenues by $400 to $500 a month…and when you’re small…even that little bit of income can make a world of difference in your life.

Still sound too good to be true?

Really, it’s not. It’s the power of the Internet, letting small companies reach more people in their local communities, and letting those with products and services that can be sold online reach a global audience.

And best of all…

It’s completely free!

It’s almost impossible to get a true freebie today. There’s always some catch…some hidden charge…something extra you have to do or pay. Not so with our 2005 Website Initiative seminar. It’s funded by the government to try to help local businesses like yours grow, which in turn, (we hope!) will reduce unemployment. After all, if your business grows, chances are good you’ll need to hire more people to help you.

We’ll walk you step-by-step through the process of setting up your very own website, complete with your own domain name (www.YourCompany.com) and email addresses for yourself and your employees (you@YourCompany.com), and web hosting for the first three months free. There’s no obligation to continue your site after three months.

When the day is over, you’ll have your own company website…live on the Internet!

And, we’ll supply you with a 150+ page workbook to take home with you at the end of the day, in case you need help changing or enhancing your site.

We’re excited about this opportunity to help you grow, and invite you to email or call and sign up today!
